Kennon is a nurse and works for a local vascular surgeon. Their oldest daughter Kara is
married to Nathan Boudreaux and they are the parents of Grant Joseph, Parker
Jude and Kennon Paul.

She is a member of a local ladies Mardi Gras Krewe, and belongs to a ladies
bowling league. She is also a member of a ladies poker group.
